The local gaming scene experienced a significant milestone last week as we wrapped up the second edition of the G Community Cup, proudly powered by Razer. This edition brought something special to the forefront of Tunisian esports: a dedicated, high-stakes Valorant tournament exclusively for our female competitors.
Building a Stronger Local Ecosystem Our vision for the local gaming ecosystem has always been rooted in authentic connection and creating spaces where every player has the opportunity to shine. When we announced this female-only Valorant bracket, the response from the community was immediate.
Players who entered as solo competitors quickly utilized our Discord server to connect, strategize, and form brand-new squads. Seeing these freshly formed teams navigate the tactical depth of Valorant and build real synergy is a testament to how vibrant and welcoming the Tunisian esports community truly is.
The Road to Gamefy, Soukra The tournament kicked off with fierce online qualifiers on June 21st, narrowing down the field of talented rosters. Only the best secured their tickets to the ultimate battleground: the LAN finals held on June 28th at Gamefy in Soukra.
Bringing the competition to a live environment changes everything. The pressure of playing on stage, the roar of the crowd in the venue, and the energy of sitting right next to your teammates elevates the entire experience.
Crowning Our Champions The grand finals delivered everything a Valorant fan could ask for. We want to extend a massive congratulations to Esport Olympique Mnihla for dominating the bracket and officially taking home the championship title. Their tactical execution and raw aim earned them the grand prize: five top-tier Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Headsets.
We also want to extend our deepest respect and a shoutout to our incredible runner-up, Team Funorant. They fought hard, brought an amazing energy to the stage, and demonstrated exactly what competitive sportsmanship looks like.
What’s Next? This event proved that the demand for diverse, highly competitive esports events in Tunisia is rapidly growing. We want to thank Razer for sharing this vision and providing the hardware to back it up, and most importantly, we thank every single player and spectator who showed up to support the scene.
